All the drummers are of Burundian origin, they started their discipline as children in their village in Burundi.
They have different traditional costumes and about fifteen drums with accessories.
The Art of the Tambourinaries is above all a quasi-mystical link which unites an entire country with its sacred drums, the word "ingoma" means both "drum" and "kingdom". Fascinating mixture of formalization and spontaneity close to trance, the rhythmic dazzling that the drums masters of Burundi offer us bursts with natural exuberance, the joy and the will to live of a whole people.
The group can do a two hour parade.
Fixed: A drummer settles in the middle of the semicircle and becomes the leader. He imposes the tempo, the rhythm with his music and his dance.
All the other drummers agree with him in song, dance and percussion.
Each show is therefore different.
